Hi, I’m Astra (they/them) and, I’m Vietnamese-American, trans non-binary, queer, neurodivergent counseling intern in the process of acquiring my Masters of Social Work from Columbia University. I prioritize creating a collaborative, affirmative, and empowering space for clients to explore and express their full selves. I utilize a mix of relational talk therapy, DBT, and systems theory as part of my approach.

I practice from a social justice, intersectional, and abolitionist lens, working from a stance of openness and acceptance. I am a grounded and curious person interested in challenging and expanding the inner world of the individuals I work with. I help clients navigate life transitions and relational issues, build self-esteem, develop a self-care routine, and more. 

In my free time, I enjoy making music, creating art, and cooking.
