My name is Alice. I am an experiential therapist focused on helping clients create change that’s felt, not just understood. My work is rooted in somatic, attachment-based, and trauma-informed approaches, with an emphasis on the nervous system, relational patterns, and the body. I also enjoy using evidence based practices like DBT and CBT.
I like to keep sessions attuned and grounded to what’s happening in real time in your body, so that our insights may translate into felt emotions and a lighter, clearer experience of life. I work well with individuals who are already self-aware but feel stuck, especially those who have done therapy before and are looking for an approach that focuses on embodiment and change, not just intellectualization.
Personally, I enjoy helping people to find their authentic selves. As a queer and trans woman myself, I know the battle of existing in contradiction to societies expectations of what a life should look like, and I believe that exploring and discovering your own identities, values, wants, and needs is a great cure to feelings of apathy, mundanity, and purposelessness.
I offer a space where you don’t have to perform, where you will not be judged, and where change can actually take hold.
